Agni seemed dead his body not moving. All of his limbs were hidden under his voluminous gray robe and only his head could truly be seen. His eyes only flickered about occasionally though ans that was if any thing shifted or moved. He had no interest in the conversation happening around him but he did care about his surrounding since anything would be valuable information if chaos broke out. His crimson streaked eye darted to the side as a small horned lizard burst from the sand and ran away. Strange action. His gaze sat there still staring at where the lizard had been wondering what had caused such an action.

"As you wish." Raiki nodded at the Prince. "But, if you do not mind, I prefer to speak of the subject in a more private area." He glanced over at Agni and noticed his attention was drawn towards a lizard that seemed to ran away. He wondered what made it do that, but placed it in the back of his mind as he looked back at Korrin.

Korin nodded, then looked about the town. "Um...do you know any good places we could go?" He glanced irritatedly at Agni, noticing he wasn't paying attention, then looked back at Raiki, flashing him a fake smile. If something he didn't like was happening, it put him in a foul mood.

"I suppose we can talk in one of the inns. I don't think anyone will bother us there." He gestured back to the town. "Its actually the only safe place at the moment; the citizens here are all distressed so they either boarded themselves up or left to go to the mainland." Raiki explained. He motioned Korin to follow as he turned his heel and headed back into town, all the while, he watched Agni carefully, wondering what that man was thinking or doing.

OCC: Let's bring in some interesting stuff lol
Korin nodded, wrapping his fingers around the reins of his horse. "Very well, then." He pulled the horse forward, only getting a small neigh out of it, then put his foot out to start walking. A rumbling feeling underneath his toes brought his eyes up and panic to his cheeks. Their nice chat was about to be called to an end. He quickly pulled his horse up, then slapped it on it's flank, making it run into town with a startled neigh. Korin spun around to see...warriors of the Earth Kingdom? Green specks were speeding along on rock-boards, as it looked like to Korin. Their fanned out hats held the Earth Kingdom symbol right in the middle, Korin could see as they got closer. His face heated and the dust whirled in. He gripped the hilt of his katana with as much strength as he could muster, stretching his muscles underneath his skin. His arm-muscles tightened and his torso tensed, getting ready for the laborious fighting that lay ahead of him. He could see their flashing swords from miles away. "Crud." He forgot that he was with Agni and Raiki and suddenly turned to them. "I'm guessing these are the people you were expecting, huh?" He kept his face blank, then turned back to see that the earthbenders had gained yet another mile. "Happy Days."

occ: He might seem a little wicked in this post but trust me he is truly a cuddly teddy bear.......sometimes
Agni was partly in the conversation but mostly out. H had trained himself to hear what people were saying as his mind drifted on other things and he was employing that talent now. As they continued to talk about bring things he wondered if he was wasting his time and should devote all his attention to what was puzzling him right now. His amber eyes though they darted all around trying to figure why many creatures, from tiny to large, were running from there spots. He figured out the answer even before they all felt it.
Agni saw the figure of Earth Kingdom warriors and though it seemed unlikely that they would attack out here the sun glinted off steel and he knew none of their attentions were good. He heard what the Prince had to say and he looked at the man with a predatory glint in his eyes and a exuberant smile one his lips. " Yes today is starting to look up!" He didn't enjoy killing or even fighting for that matter unless it was presented to him so openly and then and only then did he switch into a mindset that craved the adrenaline and wanted nothing more but to show all opponents who was their better. With a laugh he threw off his gray cloak showing his bare upper body only covered by the many words written over every inch of his skin. His pant covered legs spread slightly as he raised his arms ignoring the kamas strapped to his side. Oh he wanted a fight alright!

OOC: Sorry, I've been busy and could only post in a couple of threads.
"It appears so." Raiki muttered as he adjusted himself. He heard the man next to him mutter his excitement, and couldn't help feel a little adrenaline himself. "I would like to question them, so please, try not to kill them." He responded coolly. He silently pulled his katana out of its sheath behind his back. "I know not what they want...but I am anxious to find out." He kept his eyes on the approaching targets as they charged forward, acknowledging that they had opponents before them.

In a few moments the earthbenders were right in front of them, their swords drawn and holding them out at the three men's necks. Korin held back killing them with firebending and blocked his emotions from meeting his face. The earthbenders weren't even breathing hard and Korin marveled at how well they recuperated. "May I ask why you are holding us at knife-point?"
OCC: By the way, you guys can direct what they say and their actions too.

Agni heard what the water bender had to say but just barely. It was all good and well since Agni wouldn't kill unless he was forced. No killing only brought more killing and one day he would die in the river of blood that would be created. He shook that though away knowing now was not the time for sentimental moments and he threw all unimportant emotions and thoughts away. Now was not the time to hesitate. His face was completely blank when the earthbenders finally pulled up, pointing their weapons at the three of them. Agni's eyes darted quickly over the weapons and the people holding them. His assessment was over quickly and he was ready to attack.
Agni let the Prince get his sentence out but that was all. If he wanted to ask questions he would have to wait. It was time to fight not talk. Agni burst into motion his legs sending him at the first earthbender. Agni slapped the blade away as if was but a child's toy and went immediately on the attack. His first and feet rained down on the poor soldier and though he, like the rock he controlled, weathered the blows he couldn't stand forever. Agni finished the fight with a vicious kick to the man's knees but even as a sickening crack filled the air Agni had turned and was ready for the next man.

Raiki had moved in an instant as the earthbenders began their attack. They darted towards him and he barely noticed Agni attacking. Raiki refused to use his waterbending unless he had to, so he used his katana to clashed against an earthbender's sword. Swiftly kicking the earthbender in the stomach, Raiki pushed him down so that he would stumbled across another warrior. Raiki made his way towards Korin, slicing and pushing his way.
He felt the ground beneath him move and knew that someone was bending. He tsked, knowing that they had the advantage in the area they were in.
"I don't think they want to talk." Raiki smirked under his mask as he found himself next to Korin.

Korin's blank mask broke as he scowled when both Agni and Raiki attacked. They had just endangered his life. You see, when they both moved, the earthbender, who seemed to be the leader, in front of Korin jabbed the sword he held at Korin's neck forward. Korin had barely escaped losing his life and had a large gash on the bottom of his chin to prove it. Dropping to where his eyes were at the leader's knees, he whipped out his pearl dagger and stabbed it through the man's knee. The man let out a horrifying scream that fell short when Korin popped up and knocked him on the head with his fist to make him pass out. It was then that Raiki appeared beside him. The gash on Korin's chin was almost too much to bear and he started to feel woozy. "Raiki...I have to tell you something." He whipped out his sword and flung it backwards, hitting the helm of an earthbender trying to sneak up on him and knocked him out. He gestured towards the gushing of blood, then bent over, retching on the ground. He glanced up at Raiki and managed to get out, "I'm bleeding," before passing out.

Agni saw the blade as it descended and he moved quickly. His body did a half turn and the blade was on a course an inch away from his body and he was ready to intercept it. With a growl Agni's hand snapped out and his flat had crashed into the chopping weapon and sending the blade out and having the holder stumble. Not missing a step he leaped in his blocking hand now becoming the attacker. As his hand curled up his elbow came out and smashed against the man's head. He had misjudged and chipped the man's helmet which had him ending up with a bloody elbow and the man with a dazed expression. That expression lasted as long as Agni liked as both hands came around in a collision course with only one thing in the way. The earthbender's head. A loud crack and crash filled the air and the man fell to the ground unconscious and deafened.
Agni stepped from that man his hands scraped up and with a roar charged another. The man came at him wary but not ready for what was to come. Annoyed from the drawn out battle a moment ago Agni wanted a quick kill and he slid to the ground and as their legs tangled he brought the earthbender down with him. Untangling quickly with only a slight bruise Agni reared up and smashed his forehead into the man's mouth leaving a bloody mush and with another crack he smashed the man's nose. Agni would have finished the attack except another bender attacked. he threw a rock which hit his shoulder and had him stumble off the man growling/groaning.
Swissh.
Agni stumbled forward surprised with himself. His kama stood at an odd angle out of the man's throat and a rock tumbled to the ground not able to be thrown. Agni hadn't remembered throwing it but it brought a chuckle from his throat. "Weird." He turned and ran at the benders surrounding the Prince, not knowing he was down, roaring a challenge.

Raiki blocked an attack from an earthbender just when Korin tried to get out his words. It took Raiki a moment to realize that the Prince was injured deeply. Groaning, Raiki sheathed his sword and opened his water pouch. "This is getting irritating." He grunted out and manipulated the water so that it was in front of his mouth. Breathing in, he gathered the moisture in his mouth and in his lungs as he prepared to use the breath of ice technique. Exhaling out, he blew hard as the breath of water turned into a dragon iced image. He aimed it at his opponents and they all halted as their bodies began to be covered in ice. He stopped the majority of them and glanced at Agni, who was taking care of the rest. Grabbing the Prince, Raiki placed him into his arms and used some of the remaining water in his waterskin to create ice beneath his feet so that he could escape faster. "Hold on, Prince." Raiki whispered as he hurried towards the town, where a well was located.
