Character's Name: Prince Feru, Black Phoenix
Character's Age: 11
Character's Attitude: He is a Fire Nation nationalist and believes in nothing but perfection. Despite his father and mother's teachings, Feru believes that in order to maintain peace, all the nations must be conquered into one, as his grandfather and aunt believed. Feru is manipulative and compassionless. He his hostile when something does not go his way, however, his appearance is always of the obedient and kind little boy. He displays Mai's emotionless characteristics most of the time, but inside, he tempers that of Azula, if not worse. He desires to seize the the title of Fire Lord and secretly despises Korin because he thinks his older brother is too weak and because he thinks his parents pay more attention to Korin than to him. He is as lethal as a snake.
Character's Race: Human
Character's Appearance: He's 5'1'', black hair, gold eyes (like his mother). He wears the traditional fire nation clothes, but enjoys wearing a black ninja suit and cloak when he sneaks out to see Aunt Azula.

Character's Allegiance: Fire Nation, Aunt Azula, and himself.
Weapons: Firebending, shurikens (like mommy!) and two small katanas (no one knows about these).
Character's Bending Ability: Firebender - in between Intermediate and Advanced. He is an upcoming prodigy like Azula, who is secretly teaching him new moves. Although he doesn't show it, he can rival Korin; he can make blue flames (demonstrating his advancement in firebending) since his studies with Azula, but she has warned him not to make himself look powerful, but to wait until the time came. Unlike Azula, he can revert his flames back to their orange colors if he only maintains his temper.
Other Info: He went to visit Aunt Azula with his Father one time and he was so intrigued with her that he snuck out at night to visit her again. He is now under her direct tutelage without any one's knowledge. He is skilled in fighting styles of the Fire nation, but most particularly that of Shuriken-jutsu, which his mother taught him.
History:
Born as the second son and child to Fire Lord Zuko and Mai, Feru was a happy little boy who was loved by his parents. Mostly hanging around his mother, Mai, Feru would do anything to please her. However, as he grew older and began to learn about the role of the Fire Lord and the history of his family, Feru became more aware of his parent's attention towards Korin. That is when his hate began to grow against Korin.
Sensing the Feru's distress, Mai taught him her specialized fighting style in order for them to spend more time together and teach him the importance of family. However, as Korin became older, the more Zuko paid more attention to him, and the more Feru wanted his father's approval and attention. Mai continued to sense an upcoming rift, as Feru displayed some outbursts towards Korin and his father, so she had Zuko take Feru around town to learn about the Fire Lord and his duty to the people. Feru became glad about their outing together and about the history of his people; it was then that he would become a devote Fire Nation citizen. However, along the trip, Zuko wanted to show Feru the downside of power, so he took him to see Azula.
Feru showed no fright at the apparent crazed aunt, but was intrigued with her rantings about Grandpa Ozai and his vision of a perfect world. The more Azula ranted, the more Feru believed the vision and the need to unify all nations. Azula seemed to sense the boy's interest, but said nothing, for Zuko was there.
After their outing, Feru snuck out to see his aunt using secret passageways that he had found throughout the city. He snuck in and Azula soon became his mentor.
Ever since that night, Feru no longer showed his emotions (as Aunt Azula said never to give away your thoughts or plans in your face), and instead began to personify the obedient and sincere son and brother. As his mother, Mai sensed the radical change, but doesn't know what had brought it on, so she keeps a watchful eye on Feru, for a mother knows when their child has changed for the worse.
And now, Feru, with the help of Azula, is gathering allies to take down his father and Korin so that he can become the new Fire Lord. However, before he can strike, he knows he must take out the Avatar and his powerful allies and so...with the men he has accumulated, he seeks to disrupt the four nations under the name of the Black Phoenix.
