So...what do y'all think happened to Zuko's mom? I'll give you my personal opinion: The night Azulon died, Ozai told Ursa that he was supposed to kill Zuko. Ursa refused to let that happen, so she somehow killed Azulon, and lied, saying his dying wish as that Ozai become Fire Lord. Then Ozai banished her. The only thing is, I can't imagine Ursa killing anyone. She was too good to do that. But there you have it.

I kinda agree with you there. I think she was responsible for Azulon's death, but was forced into it by Ozai. Its obvious that Zuko is her favorite, and knowing that Ozai accepted to kill Zuko, she had to do something to protect him. So she probably went to Ozai to beg for him to not do it, and he probably told her that that can only happen if Azulon is dead and he declared Fire Lord.
So she probably snuck into the Fire Lord's chambers or helped Ozai do it. And killed or watched Ozai kill the old dude and making him declare Ozai the next Lord. And the only thing that I can think of for Ozai to banish his own wife, is that he feared that she would kill or expose him if he ever threatened Zuko or Azula in the future. Or he made a promise not to kill his children if Ursa left.
Now the question is, what made Ozai turned horribly bad? I mean, in the flashbacks of Zuko, Ozai seems like a happy and great dad. *Sighs* "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Well, I think he was always corrupt by the fact that he was jealous of Iroh as the firstborn, always wanting to be Fire Lord. Kinda like another young prince we all know and love. (nudges Max) But yeah, he does seem like he was a good dad back then. It's obvious, though, that he always favored Azula to Zuko. I don't know what would ever have caused him to turn all evil on Zuko, though. I want to punch him for burning Zuko's face!

Yeah, I know what you mean. *Smiles innocently* Hmm, maybe he knew that being Fire Lord wasn't forever, and that Zuko would eventually have to succeed him. Even maybe putting an end to the war since Zuko never had the heart of a true tyrant. Azula on the other hand...well, she's just crazy, in a cool creepy way. lol.

Hehehe a sociopath, thats who. Besides, Azula wanted to be Fire Lord too, but is jealous that Zuko is next in line. I wonder where Zuko's mom took refuge? I mean, I wonder if Aang and the Boomerang Squad ever ran into her and the audience just never realized it.

Sadly, I do. Have to go see grandparents. This is the first year we haven't actually spent christmas at home...
