OCC: Grrrr lol
Korin's face heated, the tips of his ears as well as his cheeks turning a pinkish color. "Of course not! You are so annoying, you little-" Korin stopped himself, taking deep breaths to calm himself. Kiya was missing? Of course he had had a crush on her...for the longest time. But he hadn't really seen her since his father started sending him on missions. His heart thumped at odd intervals as he thought of her. So beautiful...Korin blinked a couple times, recuperating from the image of her in his head, then returned his attention back to his siblings.
"When did this happe-" Korin stopped short when he saw the burn on Feru's arm as Misora lifted his sleeve up. Usually he wouldn't care, but this one seemed...different. He couldn't grasp why, but he felt that it was somehow important. "Feru, how did you get that burn?"

OOC: LOL
Feru angrily hid his glee once Korin's face turned red. He made no attempt to hide a smirk, as he got ready for Korin in case he decided to start a fight. He clenched his right hand, awaiting for it, but then Misora ruined it all! He snapped his head at her with an irritated look. He halted when Misora studied his burnt arm. "Its nothing." He took back his arm, adjusting his sleeve as he did. "I was just playing with one of the cannon's at the armory and the oil spilled on me. Its not a big deal. I managed to stop the flames before anything bad happened. Its nothing." He shrugged it off, hoping that they would both buy the lie. He continued to walk as if nothing had happened.

Misora thought Feru's story was strange, but she believed every word he said. They had gotten to the beach by then, and Misor let go of both their hands, throwing a huge blue burst of fire far out on the ocean. She smiled in satisfaction when a huge column of steam rose up, reaching practically up to the sky. She was about to toss another one when a voice sounded from nearby. "Hey, this is no place for kids!" the annoying voice called out. At young man, about eighteen or nineteen, came up. He was dressed in Fire Nation armor. "Whaddya mean?" she asked curiously. "We always come to play here." "This is the new training grounds and shipyard," he explained, obviously irritated. "My father, Admiral Zhao, would not like it if pipsqueeks like you were underfoot." "I'm not a pipsqueek!" Misora replied, outraged, "I'm the princess!" "Oh, I apologize, your highness," the kid replied with mocking sorrow, "I mean to say you were a royal pipsqueek." He laughed a little, and Misora grew angry and threw a blue fireball just over his head. Her indigo eyes were blazing. "I'm gonna make you sorry for that!" she called to him, "when we fight Agni Kai tonight!"

Korin's eyes widened. "Misora!" He rushed forward and picked her up, then looked at this "Zhao" kid. "Excuse me, sir, but I could have you killed for disrespect." Then, glancing at Misora's cute little face, he smiled. "Or actually, you will probably get this treatment at the Agni Kai tonight against my sister. I shall invite my father, Fire Lord Zuko, and he shall watch as this disrespectful fiend dies in the name of his daughter. Goodbye, Sir." He turned abruptly on his heel, then grabbed Feru's arm, pulling him to a different side of the beach.

"Why wait for tonight?" Feru shuffled out of Korin's hands. "If the Admiral's son isn't able to identify the Fire Lord's children, I think Misora has the right to beat the crap out of him." He smirked as his eyes hinted towards Feru's true nature. "I want to see him burn." He grinned evilly at the imbecile as he took a step towards him. Admiral Zhao's son took a step back, his eyes fully aware of his mistake. "Young Masters, I apologize...I didn't mean..." he stammered. "Young Masters?" Feru reiterated the two words with a disgusted snarl. "I'll look forward for Misora scorching more than your eye. You will accept." He growled out as his right hand clenched.

Misora continued to glare at the kid who ordered her and her brothers around. He was nothing except a big bully. But she had to shake her head when Feru proposed the fight right then. "Feru...I can't fight right now. I'm not ready. But I will be ready tonight." She glared at Zhao's son. "And you can bet I'll beat the living daylights outta ya!"

Korin, irritated Feru had turned back, grabbed Feru's shoulder again, but more firmly this time. Glancing back at the man, with a scowl on Korin's face, he said, "We will be back. And you will be faced by the wrath of Princess Misora. Prepare thyself." He gently patted Misora on the back, then lowered her to the ground so that she could walk between him and Feru.

Feru jerked as Korin gripped his shoulder again. He gave his brother an uncharacteristic deadly look, but it quickly vanished into irritation, as Feru recollected himself. "Fine." He grunted out and shrugged Korin's arm off of him as he marched towards the summer house.
*** Zhao's son shook with fear as he realized the mistake that he had made. The three children of the Fire Lord! How stupid was he! He had to think of a plan quick...and then he remembered his cousin Ash was in town. If he could get Ash to fight the Agni Kai, he would retain his honor! Determined to trick Ash to fight for him, he hurried back to his house with a deceptive grin.
*** "Our family name is at stake!" Zhao's son exclaimed to Ash. "I don't understand." Ash's face contorted into confusion. "I told you, this little girl insulted our family, saying that we are traitors to the Fire Lord! I couldn't not accept!" His arm was in a sling as he feigned to be hurt. "I told the girl that it wasn't true and she struck me without warning and forced me to fight in an Agni Kai." He lied. "I see..." Ash frowned, not liking how his family's name was being dishonored, despite his Uncle's past misdeeds against Lord Zuko when he was younger. "Since you are wounded, and the challenge was made towards the family, I will fight in our family's stead." Ash sighed, knowing that something wasn't right about his cousin's story. "The Agni Kai is tonight, at the plaza at the Fire Lord's summer home." "You got the Fire Lord involved?!" Ash exclaimed with surprise. "They dishonored one of the noble families of the Fire Nation, it is only right that we settle this in front of the Fire Lord and his family." His cousin explained, feigning a painful expression when he moved his arm. "I'll do my best not to humiliate our family." Ash nodded, resigning to this predicament.

OOC: oh my gosh! This is soooo hilarious! Ash has no idea he's about to fight Misora!
As Misora walked away, she looked down at the sand. She remembered that her mom's birthday was coming soon, and she had no idea what to give her. In between thoughts of her fight for the night, she thought about what to give her. On impulse, she bent down and scooped up a handful of the sand, sticking it in a small pouch she carried with her to collect shells and other items. As she did, her hair fell in front of her face. An idea was coming to her. "Feru, can I ride on your shoulders?" she asked.

OOC: Nope. He has no idea...hehehe
Feru turned slightly has Misora called out his name. He was still fuming on the inside for the insolence of Admiral Zhao's son. He stopped and raised an eyebrow at her. Her hair covered her face, but that only amplified her cuteness. He sighed, recalling the past and how they were once really close...how they were all really close. He glanced briefly at Korin and then back at Misora.
Family was suppose to be everything, Feru, but look what your father has done to me and your grandfather...he doesn't care for family...but I do...you can only trust me Feru. Feru frowned at the memory of Aunt Azula's teachings - something didn't make sense about the way she said that. You are the strongest Feru, you are the only one who can unite the Fire Nation and our family again, don't you want that? I do! Feru recalled his response. Then you have to do things you don't want to, for the Fire Nation. You must become Fire Lord. You cannot trust Korin or Misora - they are weak and won't understand. Do you understand? I do.
As Feru thought about Aunt Azula's words, he looked at Misora. She was innocent in all this politics. It wasn't her fault that Korin was weak. Even though he couldn't trust her as much as he used to, she was still his sister.
Feru sighed. "Come on." He bent down and held out his arms to place her on his shoulders.
OOC: SEE! He has a heart! lol.

OOC: you can be the most evil person in the world, did you know that? At least he does seem to have a brain. lol!
Misora giggled as Feru placed her on his shoulders. She wrapped her arms around his forehead and placed her chin on top of his. Then she looked at his black hair and smiled a little mischieviously. "Wha'cha two gonna get Mamma for her birthday?" she asked, partly to distract them. While she talked, she gently took one of Feru's locks, putting her fingers on either side. Then she slowly caused her chi to heat her fingers, though she did it swiftly enough to keep the air around them from smelling like burnt hair. Once she freed the lock of hair from Feru's head, she felt for a string on her belt, which she tied around the hair to keep it all together.

OOC: haha well yeah. lol
Feru thought he felt something burn atop his head, but Misora didn't seem to have reacted towards anything, so he shrugged it off. "I don't know." Feru replied. "I haven't given much thought to it lately. Perhaps tickets to the opera?" Feru thought out loud, wondering if Mother liked the opera. "What are you getting her, Misora?" Feru asked as they entered the courtyard to the summer home.

Misora grinned at the question and leaned down her head in an attempt to look into Feru's eyes. "It's a secret," she said with a mischievious grin.

Feru raised a curious brow. "What are you up to, Misora?" He asked with a suspicious glance. They walked into the summer house courtyard and could hear the servants bustling about for a feast. "I suppose we should inform Father and Mother about the entertainment tonight." Feru smirked.
*** Ash took in a deep breath as he sat in his room, meditating. He had to learn to control his emotions so that his chi would be clear for the Agni Kai tonight. His mind wandered to his cousin's story and he was unable to shake the dooming feeling he had about it. He sighed, knowing that he still had to defend his uncle's name, since his son was clearly unable. Its been almost 20 years since High Admiral Zhao's death in the Northern Water Tribe battle, but it appears the disturbing memories still lingered within his cousin, and as a member of the Zhao family, he had an honor to protect, even if High Admiral Zhao had disgraced it. Breathing in slowly, Ash prepared himself mentally for the battle.

Misora slid off Feru's shoulders as the entered the house, her grin remaining. "You'll see when it's ready," she said. She looked around at the servants getting ready for dinner than night and became solemn with her brother's reminder of her fight tonight. "I should probably make myself ready," she said, "If I'm not in the proper mindset, I won't be able to beat anyone." She stared up adoringly at Feru. "You will be there tonight, won't you Feru? Please?"
